Welcome to Gig4Me, a service platform owned and operated by Inab Technologies Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria. By accessing or using Gig4Me, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including clients, service providers, visitors, and anyone who interacts with the platform.

 

1. Definitions

“Gig4Me” refers to the online platform, website, and mobile systems operated by Inab Technologies Ltd.

“Client” refers to a user who posts or books services through the platform.

“Provider” or “Pro” refers to a skilled professional offering services through the platform.

“Gig” or “Service” refers to a task, project, or job posted by a client or listed by a provider.

“Third-Party Payment Processor” refers to external financial services used to process payments.

“User” refers to any person accessing or using Gig4Me.

 

2. Nature of the Platform

Gig4Me is a digital marketplace that connects clients with independent service providers.

Gig4Me:

  • does not provide services listed on the platform.
  • does not employ providers.
  • does not supervise, monitor, or guarantee the quality of services.
  • does not offer escrow services and does not hold client funds.

All transactions, agreements, and outcomes are solely between the client and the provider.

 

3. Eligibility

Users must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Comply with local laws and platform rules.

Gig4Me reserves the right to suspend or remove accounts for violations.

 

4. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login details.
  • Ensuring all provided information is truthful.
  • Restricting others from using their account.

Gig4Me is not responsible for losses arising from unauthorised account access.

 

5. Posting and Booking Gigs

Clients may:

  • Book from existing service listings.
  • Post custom Gigs describing their specific needs. 

Providers may:

  • Respond with offers, pricing, and availability.
  • Update service listings and profile information.

Both parties must agree to project details before work begins.

 

6. Payments

Payments made through Gig4Me are processed by third-party payment providers.

Gig4Me:

  • Does not receive, store, or hold funds on behalf of users.
  • Does not provide escrow or guarantee payment security.
  • Is not responsible for payment delays, failures, or disputes.

 Clients must ensure the legitimacy of providers and payment instructions before proceeding.

 Providers are responsible for confirming completion of work before receiving payments where applicable.

 

7. Pricing and Fees

 Providers set their own service prices unless otherwise stated.

Gig4Me may charge:

  • Platform usage fees
  • Service charges
  • Transaction fees

 Fees are displayed before confirmation where applicable.

 

8. Communication and Conduct

 Users agree to communicate respectfully and professionally.

Prohibited actions include:

  • Fraud or misrepresentation
  • Abusive language or harassment
  • Posting false reviews
  • Spamming or promotional messaging
  • Illegal activities or prohibited services

 Gig4Me reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate community standards.

 

9. Reviews and Ratings

 Reviews help maintain transparency.

By using the platform, you agree that:

  • Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.
  • Gig4Me may remove reviews that are false, abusive, or misleading.
  • Providers cannot request or pressure clients for positive reviews.

 Ratings are public and may affect provider visibility.

 


10. Disputes Between Users

 Gig4Me provides a reporting and dispute notification feature, but:

  • Gig4Me does not decide the outcome of disputes
  • Gig4Me is not responsible for refunds, compensation, or service completion
  • Final resolution is strictly between client and provider

 Users are encouraged to document agreements inside the platform.

 

11. Content and Intellectual Property

 All platform content, trademarks, graphics, and branding belong to Inab Technologies Ltd.

 Users may not:

  • Copy or distribute platform content
  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the platform
  • Use Gig4Me materials for unauthorised purposes

 User-generated content remains the property of the creator but grants Gig4Me the right to display it on the platform.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

 Gig4Me is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Gig4Me is not liable for:

  • Losses arising from user actions
  • Damaged, delayed, or incomplete services
  • Payment issues between clients and providers
  • Damages caused by providers during service delivery
  • Errors in service listings
  • Third-party payment failures
  • Loss of data or interruptions in platform availability

 Users assume full responsibility for interactions and outcomes.

 

13. Indemnification

 Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gig4Me and Inab Technologies Ltd from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Misconduct during service delivery
  • Improper use of the platform
  • Breach of legal obligations

 

14. Account Suspension or Termination

 Gig4Me may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraud
  • Repeated complaints
  • Violation of laws
  • Abuse or harassment
  • Misuse of platform features

 Funds, bookings, or outstanding Gigs may be affected at the user’s risk.

 

15. Modifications to the Platform

 Gig4Me reserves the right to:

  • Modify features
  • Update pricing or fees
  • Revise platform rules
  • Discontinue services temporarily or permanently

 Changes may occur without prior notice.

 

16. Governing Law

 These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, with jurisdiction in Lagos State.
